MontteroSound is the artistic name of Rodrigo Monteiro (Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, 1982), a musician, singer, composer, producer and DJ whose career is a celebration of Brazilian rhythmic diversity.

The pair of MontteroSound for the music you hear, immersed in the visceral vibration of the drums of a samba school, where you learn to play the sound. This rhythmic basis lends itself to a familiar domain of all school marching band percussion instruments.

A continuous evolution in the underground scene, where he consolidated himself as a talented drummer in different bands, dedicating himself to creating original compositions among the genres of rock, punk, metal and reggae. In 2004, he built a solid foundation as a multi-instrumentalist musician, launching his first album as a singer and composer.

For five years, MontteroSound has found the freedom and autonomy needed to explore new sound textures in electronic music. This transition allowed him to expand his creativity, combining his percussive and composer background with technological innovation in musical production.

Nowadays, as a DJ/Producer, he dedicates himself to enchanting the audience with innovative products that reflect his unique style through the music, maintaining constant artistic reinvention.
